All the formation, friends, and fun you’re craving!

There have been moments this year when we didn’t know if we’d get to be together in any fashion for Forum. But our Worldwide team decided we weren’t going to let a global pandemic get in the way of our plans.  God is greater than our concerns and the foundation of hope and peace.

After a trip back to the drawing board, a major overhaul, and prayerful consideration of what would be most meaningful to Catholic women around the world,  we decided to debut an online event, unlike anything MCCW has ever attempted. Faux Fiesta Forum 2020–all the formation, friends, and fun you’ve been craving.

Special Event Highlights

  • Faux Fiesta Forum will run from Sunday, Nov. 8 through Sunday, Nov. 22, but be sure to join us for some pre-Forum fun on social media beginning Monday, Nov. 2.
  • There will be a special “State of MCCW” update from our President, Kim Miller, on Nov. 5 at 4 p.m. in advance of Forum opening to help set the stage for our upcoming discernment and board transition.
  • Forum will open on Sunday, Nov. 8 with Mass celebrated by Archbishop Timothy P. Broglio and live-streamed on the Military Council of Catholic Women Facebook page.
  • The opening Mass will be celebrated for your prayer intentions. Share them here so we can bring them to the altar for you.
  • MCCW will continue one of its most-loved traditions with a virtual auction Nov. 8-21 to benefit our co-sponsored seminarians. Details on how to participate will be shared via email and social media and linked below.
  • A special MCCW leadership module, Finding Your Fiat During the Pandemic, will be presented in two interactive sessions and shared for you to use in your chapel or parish.
  • Special guest speakers, Q&As with our Auxilliary Bishops, opportunities to unite in prayer, and low-key Ladies Night Socials in every region will round out the schedule for the two-week Faux Fiesta Forum.
  • In an effort to connect with as many of our sisters in Christ as possible, we will provide content on Facebook live streams and prerecorded Zooms.  The videos will be archived here on our website and on our YouTube channel for worldwide access 24/7.
  • Help us reach our goal of 100 YouTube subscribers so we can earn our custom MCCW channel link.
