MCCW Discernment
A holy process of becoming a servant leader.
For more than 60 years, MCCW has been led by dedicated volunteers – caring, generous military-affiliated women who have given of their time, talent, and treasure in order to help their sisters in Christ grow in their Catholic faith. This continues today with talented teams working at the Worldwide and Regional levels to produce MCCW programs, events, and resources.
MCCW uses discernment, a prayerful way of making decisions, as its method for selecting many of its new leaders. MCCW discernment is done in two parts: first, a personal discernment process that gives a possible servant leader a guide to praying and talking with God about the decision; and second, a group prayer service during which possible leaders share their gifts and talents and new leaders are selected.
So that MCCW can continue to connect, unite, and inspire military women around the world in the very best way, MCCW discernment happens on a rolling, staggered schedule. There is always an opportunity to answer the call to serve!
