Hi Sisters in Christ! My name is Cari Tedesco and I am MCCW’s Chaplain. I am here to pray for the concerns of the MCCW Board of Directors and to pray for you, too.
To that end, I have helped facilitate the informal group for Catholic women to read, discuss, and go on retreat together to discover St. Therese’s Offering to Merciful Love and Consecration to the Divine Mercy, with the help of our Central Regional Coordinator, Dollia Lemus.
I will be planning more of these, especially during the last half of our Year of Divine Mercy. I leave you with this quote from St Faustina:
“When I see that the burden is beyond my strength, I do not consider or analyze it or probe
into it, but I run like a child to the heart of Jesus and say only one word to Him: “You can do
ALL things” And then I keep silent, because I know that Jesus himself will intervene in the
matter, and, as for me, instead of tormenting myself, I use that time to love him.”
~St Faustina p 392
So, when our military life throws us a curveball, in the form of an unexpected PCS, or delayed orders or a deployment, I pray that this quote from St Faustina will give you comfort.
