EASTER PEOPLE, HALLELUJAH
Do not abandon yourselves to despair. We are the
EASTER PEOPLE, HALLELUJAH
is our song. –St. John Paul the Great
“Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here, but has RISEN.” This was the question of the WOMAN at the tomb that first EASTER morning and it is something we must ask ourselves . EASTER calls for US to look for the life among the living with grateful and joyful hearts. Which is why I am sharing this with all of you at this time.
The MCCW Worldwide Board 2016-2018 could not be ending our time together at a more fitting liturgical season in our Church. It is timely that our service , leadership and spirituality as a group of witnesses at a gathering in just a few short weeks with all of you other believers and heralds of our Risen Christ will bring joy and gladness. No empty tomb but the radiance of the light of Christ and happiness that we all will share as an Easter People. Unity in Charity.
May this Easter be a time of JOY and gladness as you celebrate with family and friends both near and far. May you be blessed with hope faith and love. Celebrate all 50 days of this Easter season , commemorate the Ascension and the Feast of Pentecost, and much like the apostles who were sent out accompanied by the Holy Spirit on their great mission, let this too be our time of mission as we gather in one of the GREAT MISSION Cities.
Can’t wait to see all of you as we join in the proclamation of the GOOD NEWS of the Resurrection. “ He is not here, but has RISEN”.
In His Joyful Service Always,
Michelle Nash[/av_textblock]
