MCCW Names Endowed Scholarship

With a joyful heart, MCCW is pleased to announce the official name for its endowed scholarship:

The Military Council of Catholic Women Endowed Co-Sponsored Seminarian Scholarship

This scholarship, which continues MCCW’s commitment to its perpetual charity – the support of AMS Co-Sponsored Seminarians – will allow every dollar donated to go even further toward helping our promised priests during seminary.

In order to establish the endowed scholarship, MCCW must raise a total of $50,000. Donations over the past two years have raised $37,000 and it is MCCW’s goal to raise the final $13,000 during the five Spring retreats.

We need your help! In keeping with MCCW tradition, a silent auction will be held at each regional retreat with all earnings being put toward reaching the $50,000 goal.  If you or your chapel are attending a retreat, consider contributing a basket or item for the auction. If you are attending the retreat, consider bidding on one of the wonderful items available.

Not attending a retreat? You can still help make a difference for our seminarians. You can send a cash or check donation to the retreat with someone attending or you can make your donation directly online at www.mccw.org.

MCCW is so excited about all its newly endowed scholarship will do. It will connect our members from around the globe to our effort to support seminarians, unite our financial contributions for even greater impact, and inspire future MCCW members to continue supporting our promised priests.

We kindly thank you for your financial contributions and, additionally, ask for your loving prayers for each of our AMS co-sponsored seminarians.  Together we can support our promised priests — those men called to serve both God and our military families.

Prayer for Co-Sponsored Seminarians

O Lord of the Harvest,

continue to sustain the generous response of the AMS co-sponsored seminarians.

Enflame Your Spirit within them and guide their formation.

Enlarge their hearts to make them all things for all people,

because you are the Lord of all who lives and reigns forever and ever.

Amen.

–Archbishop Timothy P. Broglio
