All Roads Lead to San Antonio for Forum 2020

Dear Sisters in Christ,

Seventeen short months ago, we said goodbye in San Diego at the conclusion of an amazing four-day, ocean-front Forum. No sooner had we all unpacked our suitcases than planning for Forum 2020 began.

What started as some ideas and dreams in an initial brainstorming session has grown into the exciting event we are opening for registration this month!

And we are so excited to share this Forum with you!

From the beautiful theme of Fiat, based on Luke 1:38, to the amazing keynote and guest speakers who will stir your hearts with their words; from the front-row-seat venue for San Antonio’s Fiesta to the historic churches where we will worship, we are confident this will be a weekend you won’t soon forget.

Forum is truly an event for everyone and I want to encourage YOU to join us in San Antonio. As I have shared at each of the retreats I’ve attended in the past year, I know how hard it is to take time away from your family, your home, your work and responsibilities.

But I also know — because I experience it at every MCCW event I attend — this time you take for your relationship with Christ is worth it! It is time for you to grow in faith and deepen your love for our Savior. It is time for you to reflect and pray and fellowship away from the distractions of daily life. (It is also time for you to attend mass without also feeling like you are engaged in a WWF-style wrestling match with your littles — worth the price of admission on its own!)

As an added bonus to all the gifts you will receive by attending, you will also be taking back valuable tools, lessons, and activities you can put to use in your chapel community — each attendee will go home with a Faith Formation toolkit based on the Forum schedule!

I want for each of you to have all of those opportunities with us in April. So, take the time to pray about attending. Have that conversation with your husband about making it a priority, with your in-laws about coming out to help with the kids, and with your chapel about potential opportunities to subsidize your attendance. Heck, put it on your Christmas list if that helps make it a reality!

The MCCW team and I will be praying for you and looking forward to welcoming you to San Antonio next year!

Yours in Christ,

Kim
