2022: Anticipation and Excitement
Dear Sisters in Christ,
Happy New Year! The start of a new year always fills me with anticipation and excitement – what will this year bring? I feel refreshed by the school and work holiday, and I am ready to tackle new projects, move toward new goals, and listen more closely to where God is calling me in the new year.
I am especially excited about what 2022 has in store for MCCW. This year will mark our return to in-person events. Our last in-person event was our Asian Regional Retreat in November 2019. It was a wonderful, peaceful, and spirit-led event, but wow, that was a LONG time ago!
Knowing that it has been more than two years since we gathered together, our team is working hard to make Forum 2022 in Tampa this April an amazing reunion for us all. If you have been to an MCCW Forum in the past, you know that it is a joy-filled weekend for all present. If you haven’t, gear yourself up for a pray-and-play girls’ weekend full of amazing Catholic speakers and opportunities for worship and prayer.
One of my favorite things about Forum is the chance to reunite with friends from past assignments, so I will be reaching out to some of my dearest friends and inviting them to join me in Tampa. Would you do the same? The saying “the more, the merrier” is definitely true here. Forum won’t be the same without you and your friends!
I hope that the new year and all the exciting things to come have filled you with the same anticipation and excitement that I am feeling, God has great things in store for us!
In Christ,
Kim Miller
MCCW President

Welcome to all our women who are meeting us at THE WELL on this Feast of our Blessed Mother in honor of her Assumption. I pray everyone has arrived their duty stations and have had PCS moves that have outcomed well since we all know the stress-and sometimes surprises-we receive once we arrive and begin to make our houses the homes we need them to be.
