“Pop-In & Pray” Tuesdays

Tuesday’s Pop-in and Pray is set aside for a brief time to connect, unit and inspire together.  Those who join are inspired from scripture, stories of the saints, and prayer. Through prayer for each other, we acknowledge the healing and strengthening of our bodies and souls. We know the ultimate healer in our lives is God.

Pop in and Pray connects us in the sisterhood of faith, bringing us closer from across the many areas of the world.  What can be more exciting than to know every Tuesday morning or evening that we share spiritual nurturing in this very busy, exciting, and, yes, challenging world?

But, Pop-In and Pray is not just for us. During the time together, we put on our Armor of God, a smile, and maybe some glam, and with our MCCW sisters, we are ready to combat spiritual warfare. We are blessed to have many gifts from God – from reconciliation to the eucharist. Just as military families are prepared, we are also prepared – with our shield of faith.

Psalm 23:5-6 reminds us,

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies: You have anointed my head with oil; my cup overflows. Certainly goodness and faithfulness will follow me all the days of my life, and my dwelling will be in the house of the Lord forever.

On Tuesdays at 11 AM EST and/or 5 PM EST, come as you are for a brief moment. Be lifted in prayer and lift others through your presence. Sit for a short while with something hot to drink or a cool drink as the lazy days of summer are ending, and be connected, united, and inspired through scripture, the saints, and prayer.

Come to the table of the Lord, my dear sisters in faith.

In Christ,

Bernadette
