Worldwide Forum

Every two years, MCCW hosts our Worldwide Forum, which is an opportunity for Catholic military women to come together to CONNECT, UNITE, and INSPIRE (and be inspired) in their shared experiences of their Catholic faith and military lifestyle vocations.

This time together also affords women from all the various chapel groups in attendance the chance to network and build relationships with other faith communities. This enhanced bond encourages authentic sharing and learning from their own successes and challenges in delivering and building vibrant Catholic women’s ministries. Forum is the perfect venue for MCCW to continue building on our core values of development, discipleship, and discernment. The location of Forum rotates every time to allow our CONUS regions to showcase the Catholic-friendly highlights of their region. The theme for each Forum also changes to draw inspiration from sacred scripture as we plan and come together, united as sisters in Christ.

Vocations Support

The members of MCCW, gifted with the grace of spiritual maternity, make it a priority to pray for an increase of vocations to the priesthood and religious life.

Consider joining one of our support programs, or speak to your chapel group about how to support discernment of vocations in your local community.

Each year, chapel groups have the opportunity to ‘adopt’ a seminarian. Send cards of support, mail holiday goodie packs, and pray for them in your gatherings. A monthly support session is held for those participating or interested in adopting a seminarian.

Our first prayer vigil was held in 2021 and included participants from every corner of the world. Our next annual prayer vigil is from November 5, 3 pm ET, to November 6, 3 pm ET and is scheduled to fall during National Vocations Awareness Week from November 6-12.  Plan to participate in this powerful day of prayer for the Archdiocese where the sun never sets.

MCCW will have prayer hosts from across all seven regions to provide 24 hours of prayerful content and support for our seminarians and all vocations.  All MCCW women, seminarians, those discerning religious life, or our beloved priests are invited to join our Zoom event.  No pre-registration is required, but there is a waiting room to ensure only MCCW community members participate.

Are you, a friend, or a daughter discerning a call to religious life? This path is so different from that of our priest-chaplains, and we are committed to walking with you as sisters in Christ. We can connect you with Archdiocesan resources, create connections with religious communities, and pray with you.

Our “MCCW Chats” series focuses on various topics with many people being interviewed in-person, but also features some Zoom interviews. This series is geared at supporting our sisters in Christ throughout the world in growing in discipleship, discernment, and development as visible presence of Christ to their local communities.

Connect on our YouTube channel to watch interviews, vocation stories, and more from various military-affiliated guests.

Inspire your local community by organizing an in-person evening dedicated to praying and discussing vocational support.
